The Jackson Optimist Ice Arena announces an exciting fundraising event,  the Save Our Rink Cash Bash!   

The Cash Bash is scheduled for Saturday, May 15 at the Optimist Ice Arena.  Doors open at 5 PM.  Tickets are now on sale at the Arena for $100 and include admission for 2, food, beer and wine, and an evening of fun!

This drawdown-style event will award more than $6,000 in cash prizes.  The first prize, last ticket drawn, wins $3,000 with the second prize of $2,000 and the third prize of $1,000.  The first ticket drawn will win $100.

During the evening, you’ll have chances to win other great prizes, including 50/50 drawings, basket raffles, and more.

The pandemic has dramatically changed everything we do at the Optimist Ice Arena.  To remain open, we follow all the State of Michigan health orders, conduct frequent cleaning and sanitation, reduce capacity, monitor our guests for their safety and health, and more.  We have had to purchase PPE, supplies, and equipment and dedicate staff to manage safety protocols.

As you know, the Optimist Ice Arena had to close for several months due to state orders.  Lost revenue has been significant with the reduction of ice time fees, admissions, concessions, equipment, rentals, and more.  In addition, our event spaces, usually busy with weddings, parties, and other attractions, have been idle.

As we explore creative ways to support the rink, we continue to count on the tremendous support of our skaters, teams, visitors, guests, and community.  Many have asked what they can do and our Cash Bash is just one way you can help!
